I am not even sure where to start when finding words to describe Jordan & Stacey’s wedding day. Held at the Historic Arizona Inn in Tucson, Arizona this wedding couldn’t have gone more smoothly. We had overcast skies during the middle of the day making for fantastic family portrait time. The ceremony and portrait hour had the most beautiful glowing sun to light our photos. It was almost as if Jordan and Stacey had ordered up the weather to match their perfectly organized day.
Jordan and Stacey were both so calm while they got ready; soaking in the time with their best friends and family and relishing every moment. We loved the personal touches they included in their day. The groomsmen all wore custom cufflinks designed by the groom. The bride wore a necklace from her father for her something blue and favorite pair of Kendra Scott earrings for some added sparkle. Much of their relationship is built on a love for travel, so their reception table decorations were all named after their adventures together. Jordan who is quite an artist, made a beautiful wood wall hanging to use as the guest book for their reception. Jordan’s father created the party favors by hand with his handcrafted origami, so I think I know where Jordan get’s his artistic touch!
Some of our favorite moments occurred during the wedding reception where we were able to see how blessed they were with family and friends who invested in their relationship. The stories of Stacey’s kindness and generosity to her friends and family. The stories of Jordan’s ability to form and grow friendships no matter where he was. These were the cornerstone of the evening and such a testimony to how they care and support each other. This was the kind of wedding that had us feeling energized well into the next day. Seeing people who love each other well and are excited, not just for their wedding, but for the marriage they are embarking on, is what fuels our creative souls.
Framed by parents who have been married for 40+ years and surrounded by so many couples with long-standing marriages that the DJ wasn’t prepared to have so many still dancing during the anniversary dance. What a legacy of marriage, of commitment they have before them, to uphold them and encourage them! Without a doubt, this is my favorite image from the whole day.
Congratulations Jordan & Stacey! We love you both, and we are so blessed to have shared in your day!
