What a blessing to be involved in a wedding that was so God honoring, so meaningful, I found myself moved to tears more than once during the day. I have so many favorites, I can’t even begin to feature all the family photos that showed what amazing people these two have surrounding them. Both Mandi & Andrew serve as missionaries with Wycliff Bible Translators, so the reception was a celebration centered around all the places they have had the opportunity to serve. Food from Germany, Thailand, Switzerland, Mexico and America was served. A Passport was provided for guests to keep track of the “places” they visited at the reception. Their love of travel and service was shown throughout the decorations, making this one of the most personal weddings I have ever attended.
I am so excited to pray for Andrew and Mandi as they continue God’s work through Wycliff. I can’t wait to see where God leads them next, and since He led them to each other at an unexpected time, I know He will continue to surprise and bless them at every turn!
Since Andrew had just returned from Thailand right before the wedding, the rehearsal was my first opportunity to meet him. I took them out for a very short shoot to grab a few engagement pictures with them before the rehearsal dinner. Since they were engaged on a bridge, it seemed appropriate their engagement photos be on a bridge!
One of my favorite things about this wedding, was Mandi wearing her mother’s dress. She was beautiful.
