Six years together, college graduations, new careers, two dogs and new home, Laura and Manuel have been saying “I do” to a life together long before this day, but their JW Marriott Starr Pass Tucson Wedding was the perfect celebration for their Day 1 of Forever.
It was such a lovely day! Quite possibly, the nicest day we had left before the summer heat hit Tucson for good! Laura and Manny were surrounded by family and longtime friends on their wedding day. I loved hearing about each special connection to Manny and Laura had to their wedding party. It was clear that these two are well loved by all who know them. There were so many special details included in their day. Laura’s jewelry was one special touch. She wore her mother’s earrings (that were from her parent’s wedding!) and a string of pearls her father gave her mother as a gift.
Even their wedding rings each had a special story to them. When Manny planned his proposal, he went to Neil Lane Jewelers because Laura loved the Bachelor and he wanted to recreate a Bachelor-themed proposal for her. Laura bought Manny’s ring at Tiffany & Co. Two weeks before the wedding she went in to have it engraved. When she got there, she learned that there is only one engraver for Tiffany’s. Usually, the turn around was three weeks to get it back. However, the day she went in happened to be the only day of the year that the engraver was in the Tucson store and working! Isn’t that amazing?
Their ceremony took place overlooking downtown Tucson just before sunset. This allowed us to do all of our portraits afterward during golden hour. Manny wanted the first time he saw his bride be when she walked down the aisle and his reaction didn’t disappoint. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing two people equally excited to join their lives together.
We adored sharing in Manny & Laura’s wedding. It was the perfect way to close out our spring wedding calendar! Congratulations to you both!
